What to expect when connecting a compatible camera system to Surnexo.
How does Surnexo provide and deliver the setup?
After assessing your site and camera requirements, we prepare the suitable Surnexo equipment and deployment plan. Equipment is shipped from our India or New Zealand office, depending on your location, availability and the most practical delivery route. Our team then guides or coordinates configuration and installation.
What do you need to connect Surnexo to our cameras?
We normally need the camera or recorder details, network access and authorised administrator credentials created or used during installation. These allow the team to securely configure the required video streams. Access should be shared only through the secure method provided during onboarding, and credentials can be changed after setup.
How is our camera data kept secure?
Camera and event data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure. Access is limited to authorised users through the Surnexo app, where your team can review events and, when permitted, download relevant images or event records. User access should be managed according to your organisation’s roles and security policy.
How long is our data stored?
The default retention period is 15 days. You can request a longer retention period to suit your operational or compliance needs. Under the standard setting, data is automatically and permanently deleted as it reaches the end of the rolling 15-day retention period.
